Decent OR with a good variety of cases. Ortho heavy which keeps it interesting. Surgeons are mostly reasonable to work with. Pay is average for the area.

ED volume spikes hard in summer with all the tourists. Can be overwhelming. Pay is okay. HCA staffing model is thin as usual. Fort Walton is a nice area to live though.

ICU is small but busy especially during tourist season. Pay is decent with HCA differentials. Staffing is always the concern with HCA. Living in Destin area is the main perk of this job.
